•Oxidation(Fe3O4) process increases the corrosion resistance.

•Degreasing must be applied prio rto oxidation process.

•After oxidation, parts must be greased with a thin oil.
 
•Thickness of Fe3O4 film is about 2-4µm.

NITROX

What is Nitrox?  Nitrox = Nitriding (without white layer)+oxidation process.

Nitrox proscess; is a fully controlled thermo-chemical process in which an oxidation process is implemented in addition to nitriding. In this process, a hard diffusion zone (without white layer) is achieved. On this diffusion zone a thin oxide layer is formed which provides corrosion resistant and eliminates the sticking aluminum.
